Best College Athlete – Kenzie Kent, the two-sport athlete who has led Boston College to the national semifinals in both hockey and lacrosse, beat out an impressive group that included hockey players Zach Aston-Reese of Northeastern, Joe Gambardella of UMass Lowell, and Saugus native Mike Vecchione of Union, as well as BC linebacker Connor Strahan and Northeastern men’s basketball star T.J. Williams.


Entering her senior season, Kent is now the captain of the women’s hockey team, which is vying for a fourth straight Frozen Four appearance. She began her final season with 107 points, which placed her 14th on the Eagles’ scoring chart, and she had 76 assists, which tied her for 10th.
